Bright Bus – Edinburgh’s brightest and friendliest tour operator – is excited to a launch a brand-new Airport Express between the city and Edinburgh Airport from Monday 1st January 2024.
Journeys to and from Edinburgh Airport to the city centre will now be even brighter, with buses running up to every 15 minutes, convenient stops and great value tickets. This new airport bus creates a seamless and enjoyable experience for customers, connecting with Bright Bus hop-on hop-off tours around the city centre and to and from the Royal Yacht Britannia.
The growth of Bright Bus continues after four successful years of developing a quality touring product across the nation’s capital, and the company believes serving the Airport is a natural next step to serve the thousands of tourists who use their hop on and hop off buses each year.

Convenience at Every Stop: With conveniently located stops across the city centre, including an interchange at Waterloo Place between the hop-on, hop-off Bright Bus Tours services and other buses from the east and west; a stop right outside Waverley and Haymarket Station for rail connections; two stops along Princes Street as well as at Shandwick Place – with two calling points at Murrayfield and Edinburgh Zoo – Bright Bus Airport Express brings the airport closer to you.
